Emerson’s words are prominently displayed in the office of one of CAP’s program managers and have been guiding others in a compassionate and structured approach to recovery. Staff members at CAP experience firsthand the meaning of Emerson’s words in their daily work with clients who are committed to restoring to their lives that which has been lost to addiction.
